GHCS is a Post–Secondary / Private Career School, approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.

Its Geriatric & Certified Nursing Assistant Program is approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing. The Pharmacy Technician Training Program is approved the Maryland Pharmacy Board. The National Health Career Association has also accredited this Institution as a Training Center and Certification Exams testing site for its Certification programs such as its Phlebotomy Technician program.
